My dog Twyla’s car sickness has been reduced quite a bit since we purchased a car seat for her, but sometimes she still looks a little anxious or we find some pools of drool on the seat. So when a bottle of Ease the Quease arrived in the mail, I was willing to give it a try.
The organic ingredients it contains all have a reputation — although it hasn’t been proven scientifically — for quelling the motion-induced nausea that affects some animals and people. They include ginger root, St. John’s wort, anise seed, peppermint and spearmint.
So far I’ve shaken it up and administered four drops — directly in the mouth — four times for car rides of various distances. Twyla takes it pretty willingly, and I haven’t seen any evidence of car sickness any time she’s had it. Whether that’s due to the car seat or Ease the Quease is unclear.
A better test came when I noticed that Bella or Harper — who were riding in the same crate — had thrown up during one ride. The next time, everyone got a dose of Ease the Quease and no one threw up.
My verdict: seems to help; can’t hurt to try it.

This a great product! Their Relieve De Stress also works wonders for easing anxiety during travel. It’s also great for thunderstorms, fireworks, etc.
