Drinkwell Hydro-Go: From the people who brought you the Drinkwell Pet Fountain comes the Drinkwell Hydro-Go, a combination water canteen and drinking bowl. Although it’s somewhat heavy when full, it’s still a great way to bring water for your dog on a day hike. Just fold it out and water from the canteen portion flows into the bowl, making it easy for your dog to drink. No more trying to aim the spout of a sport bottle into her mouth. A built-in funnel returns unused water to the canteen when your dog is through drinking. An adjustable strap allows you to carry it across your body.

It’s even better for car trips or hotel stays because if you detach the top bowl and turn the canteen over, it forms a second bowl, so you have one for food and one for water. And in a car you don’t have to be concerned about the weight. It’s a better alternative than the heavy water jug we usually lug on car trips, which invariably spills when I try to pour some out.
