Bamboo Quick Control Collar: This is a collar that features a built-in leash for quick control when needed. I wasn’t very impressed when I first saw this and didn’t see much use for it. The built-in leash doesn’t pull out very far, and my dogs are so low to the ground that I’d never be able to reach them in time if I needed to grab them away from something.
So I asked my friend Arden for her opinion. We put it on her husky mix, Chipper, who was tall enough that the leash handle was within grasping range. A few minutes later, it came in handy when Chipper decided to run across the street after Arden, who had gone to see a neighbor. Arden was able to grab the collar and walk him back to the house with it.
She also suggested that it might be useful for people training their dogs for agility, who work with their dogs off leash. If you have a medium-size or large dog and want – you guessed it – quick control at the dog park or agility class, it’s worth a try.
The Quick Control comes in three sizes – medium, large and extra-large – and five colors: orange, pink, blue, red and black. Reflective bone-shaped stitching gives better visibility at night, and an identification card can be slipped into a slot on the collar.

our collar fell apart within 1 month of having it on your dog. All the stitching pulled apart and it’s pretty much useless now.
In theory, it’s an awesome idea for a large, powerful dog who likes to dash into the pool in an instant… but it just isn’t made to be durable.

My collar fell apart after less than a month of use and now, my personal information that was written on the tag provided is available to any crazy person on the street. I am not impressed. And the elastic inside the collar does not stretch anywhere near as far as Bamboo depicts on the company website. If I could give less than 1 paw, I would.

I have had this collar on my 85 pound German shepard lab for approx 6 months now and its the best collar i have had. Very help when he is off leash and desides to bolt for a cat or any other small animal.Not very inpressed with the metal bone sticking out of it and sizing was a little off. Med was to small and the large was a little to big, now i have 1/4 of the collar sticking out and no where to tuck it in.
